I am the Dark Knight

Last month we introduced a new theme for our campaigns here at the RNC, one in which we portray Obama as The Joker, a villain so unconscionable that he is driving the country directly into the clutches of socialism. I think it is a great, refreshing new theme, and to me it makes sense because I’ve always thought of myself as a brooding superhero. It begs the question, though: who is going to be my Robin?

Among the changes that we’ve introduced is a new way to deal with wealthy donors. Instead of treating them with respect, enticing them with the promise to fundamentally improve our country, we will now be ridiculing them and offering them tchochkes. I’ve determined that this is the more effective strategy after consulting with the Association of Suitable Statistics. The other aspect of this new theme is the renewed emphasis on our core values: fear, peer pressure, egotism and hatred.

Well, that about sums up the direction in which I’m steering this big ol’ ship. I hope you’re all ready, ’cause it’s going to make waves.
